JOB SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate must be flexible, able to work in a highly collaborative environment, prioritize multiple competing tasks, work independently, and have superior interpersonal skills. Responsibilities of this role include:
- Experience as a full stack developer, working on back-end, front-end, and API code as needed
- Demonstrated experience in working with other database and application developers to define application architecture/best practices.
- Develop data processing and automation routines using Python, javascript, and other languages
- Interact with the customers and come up with creative ways to resolve complex problems
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems
- Experience with software development (3 years minimum)
- Experience working in an Agile development environment

JOB DESCRIPTION
This position is to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Cloud Distribution Services. You will work with our FAA counterparts to design and deploy cloud solutions for different FAA programs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
5-8 years of experience on:
- Cloud architecture services,
- Security services (Governance and Compliance),
- Systems integration, and
- Trade studies.
Additional experience helpful in the areas of:
- Developing operational concepts, scenarios, and use cases
- Evaluating policy, technology, and operational considerations to support engineering analyses
- Supporting in independent technical investigations in systems design.
- Conducting in-depth analysis of work products, investigating new technologies, and performing engineering studies
- Defining, developing, and refining system requirements, documenting the requirements in detailed specifications from which programs will be developed and/or procured, and from which hardware will be developed and/or procured.
- Engaging, coordinating, collaborating, and supporting stakeholder actions in response to requirements
- Bachelors in Engineering or related field required

JOB SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and enhance web portal that supports authenticated user access to real-time situational awareness tool for the FAA.
You will be a significant contributor in a small development team focused on delivering 24x7 operational software products in a continuous release environment.
Will be responsible for managing all aspects of a customer-facing website, including updates to user accounts, security management.
Will be principal web design UX lead, including site layout, visual features, and graphics.
Opportunity to expand role to multiple projects after the first year.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in related field
- 5 years experience as web developer or related
- Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
OTHER DESIRED EXPERIENCE
- Wireframe/layout a website or web application.
- Write HTML and CSS from scratch.
- Take a PSD and turn it into a working website.
- Add interactivity to a website with JavaScript (or jQuery)
- Write a basic application in an object-oriented programming language like Ruby or Python or PHP.

- Schedule, plan, and supervise the installation and testing of new products. Monitors database performance and develops optimum values for database parameters.
- Specify users and user access levels. Identifies and evaluates industry trends in database systems

We are looking for candidates to provide financial management support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Operational Review Board. This position requires a deep understanding of how to integrate budget and performance information across all phases of the budget life cycle.
The candidate must be flexible, able to work in a highly collaborative environment, prioritize multiple competing tasks, work independently, and have superior interpersonal skills.
Candidates must have the ability to analyze and document business processes and requirements and to effectively communicate concepts and proposed solutions.
Responsibilities of this role include:
- Conduct budget analysis, provide program level funding recommendations, and support the planning and formulation of the budget for each fiscal year.
- Identify and assess formulation issues and provide financial support to Directorates and Program Offices to address future budget allocations and investment decisions.
- Draft formulation and allowance recommendations with spreadsheets for programs for senior FAA management review and approval.
- Produce a Budget Deliberation Report for each budget cycle (formulation, presentation, and execution) containing rationales and history for budget reduction.
- Analyze historical trends and prepare artifacts and financial reports to respond to budget inquires both from internal and external stakeholders of the agency.
- Assist the Program Office to develop and maintain a five-year budget outlook document for budget prioritization.
- Evaluate program submissions, perform requirements growth analysis and identify the programs interdependencies and risks using National Airspace System (NAS) engineering knowledge and experience.
- Review life cycle cost estimates for NAS systems and assess the operational budget impact to support investment analysis decision endorsed by Joint Resource Council (JRC).
- Develop and assist in ad hoc briefings and other artifacts in support of Budget Formulation, Presentation, and Execution phases for Senior Leadership
